Founded in East London by training Aromatherapist, Lizzy in 2020. In the midst of the pandemic, with so much time spent at home burning candles and home fragrances she began getting headaches and unpleasant symptoms which led her to dig deeper into the synthetic and toxic ingredients found in conventional candles. Being asthmatic led Lizzy to be conscious of home and beauty formulations, opting for gentle and natural alternatives. Epoch was born out of a desire to keep living and breathing space clean and non-toxic.
It didn’t take long before the formulating, pouring and packaging needed a home of its own and Epoch took up residence in Hackney Wick, where the studio and aromatherapy workshops are currently run from.
Inspired by Eastern approaches to holistic health and harnessing the power of natural botanicals to shift mood, spark memories and enhance well being. Each bespoke aromatherapy blend is composed with a scent story behind them.
